Ruby Flores

Training and Coaching Manager

Ruby has been with the team since its inception and has spent the last fourteen years at Illinois Action for Children in positions ranging from program supervision to coaching and training. A Los Angeles native, Ruby is proud that her first professional job was a kindergarten teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. In the 20+ years since, she has dedicated herself to working on behalf of children and families through education and child-centered nonprofit work.

Ruby received her B.A. from Columbia University and lives in Chicago with her husband and her dog, Moira Rose.
