Jaclyn is a seasoned educator, administrator, coach, and community partnership strategist, with a critical lens for racial equity and social justice for young children and their families. Jaclyn is the former director of the Early Development Instrument (EDI) at Erikson Institute, the former manager of the Chicago Child Parent Centers, and a former early childhood, special education, bilingual educator, where her years as an educator led her across Illinois from Streator, to Oak Park, to the neighborhood of Brighton Park in Chicago. Jaclyn launched her consultancy in 2020, where she partners with leading advocacy agencies and organizations that place young children at the center of their work. As a consultant for IAFC, Jaclyn supports the PPA work by creating and facilitating Professional Development series, as well as the Shared Learning PLC for Regional Community Managers and Local Collaboration Leaders. Additionally, Jaclyn’s experience includes her life events, she is the mother of 4 children,one is medically fragile and technologically dependent. Her advocacy for her own children has led to an enhanced lens and passion around health equity for young children.
