Training Description: Early childhood collaborations have the power to address many local community system issues. However, improvement to local community systems will sometimes require broader system change that is outside the reach of collaborations. Luckily, there are numerous policy and advocacy partners who would love to work with collaborations to ensure that early childhood systems are working with and for families. Join our workshop to learn how to partner with policy and advocacy stakeholders to engage parents in the role of Advocate.

This training is Gateways Approved and the final workshop of our 4-part Parent Engagement series. You can find more information on the full series below.

Series Description: Most collaborations agree that parent engagement is critical to community systems work. But HOW can collaborations engage parents in a way that takes into consideration their community needs and resources?! Join us for a four-part workshop series that delves into practical strategies to engage parents in each of the four collaboration parent engagement roles – Family and Community Expert, Collaboration Parent Leader, Outreach Ambassador, and Advocate.
