Jasmine Harvey

Program Coordinator

Jasmine, a Chicago native hailing from both the South and Northwest sides of Chicago, is a passionate administrator and community advocate dedicated to serving communities through an equity-based and restorative justice lens. She recently earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Illinois Chicago, where she specialized in Public Management. Her goal is to strengthen community systems through data-driven strategic planning and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

Before joining IAFC, Jasmine worked as an administrator, advocate, and mentor for student leaders at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she upheld a commitment to supporting students throughout their academic and professional development journeys. During her time at UIC she also earned a B.A. in Psychology with minors in Public Policy and Civic Analytics, in which she focused on addressing public needs through people-centered and anti-discriminatory policy development. In her current role as Program Coordinator for the CS3 team, Jasmine aims to connect early childcare community systems throughout Illinois and build a sustainable framework for community development that ensures the strengthening of families and empowerment of communities, as per the IAFC mission.
